Our Business
Update
With the Global Creative Studio lead vacancy in January, we're delighted to share that Stuart Withers has been promoted to the role of Creative Director. Stuart is highly motivated about taking the Global Creative Studio forward and helping to generate big creative ideas that help us grow FIRST and win awards.
2023 Goal Setting
Now that we're in mid-March, everyone should be finalizing their individual goals. There is on-demand training available to help understand how to set goals as an individual, and you should be meeting with your manager 1:1 to finalize your goals and enter them in MyEmployeeHub, Powered by BambooHR by March 24th.
Please reach out to growthacademy@firstagency.com with any questions and a member of the P&C team will get back to you.
Update
Our priority for this year is to engage and work alongside each department, to embed more sustainable practices across the company and bring tangible and visible positive change.
The majority of our environmental and social impacts happen through our supply chain. For example, we agreed with the venue sourcing department to screen 90% of the venues sourced through Cvent for their sustainability credentials and to highlight the best sustainable option in venue proposals. We are also looking at ensuring that we include carbon measurement reports for our tier one events this year.
Energy is high for Paramount, and there are more developments on the horizon. If you’d like to get involved with the group, have any questions, or would like to share a story with us, please reach out to: paramount@firstagency.com.
New Resources From Global Marketing
Global Marketing has been busy sharing resources with our clients and external audience. We have:
- Launched a refreshed Inspiration Station, offering readers a new design and experience. This edition of Inspiration Station focuses on how brands are utilizing AI.
- Attended Google’s Xi Days at Pier 57 in New York.
- Highlighted our Solutions blog, which is focused on the many benefits of our in-house model.
As always, make sure to follow us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube to stay up to date on our latest content!
FIRST Cares about Wellness
Our Global Wellness Challenge is underway with our biggest year ever. With over 270 participants, it's been refreshing to see team members focus on all four aspects of wellness - mental, physical, nutritional and social. The winning team will be announced after the Challenge concludes. So make sure to get your activities ticked off and points in the bank!
Next month, we’ll be focusing on Earth Month and sustainability, sharing ways you can get involved and look after the planet.
If you’re interested in learning more about FIRST Cares and want to get involved with some of our activities and initiatives please get in touch by emailing FirstCares@firstagency.com.
Update
This month, the D&I Council celebrated Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day. Both occasions provided us with an opportunity to acknowledge and honor the women of the past who’ve been essential to providing access and privileges to the women of today. If you’d like to help FIRST continue the conversation about women’s rights and women at work let us know! We’re hoping to expand our EIG network so we can create an environment where our people feel connected and heard.
What’s coming up?
- We’ll be closing the month by recognizing Trans Day of Visibility, which will be led by our LGBTQ EIG. Stay tuned for more details!
- Next month we will acknowledge Holocaust Remembrance Day, led by our Jewish Community EIG.
If you have any feedback, or want to get involved, please reach out to the Diversity & Inclusion Council at FIRSTDiversity@firstagency.com.
