Venue Event Management: FIRST Supporting Google
The team delivered over 120 digital and onsite experiences, including:
- January saw the launch of the Dublin Events Team, which will be supporting onsite and digital events.
- In London, the team saw an influx of onsite event requests and a decrease in one-off digital events, and an increase in programs within the PeopleDev Team. The PeopleDev Team focuses on providing training and knowledge for different groups within Google, including Directors, Managers, and Nooglers ("New Googlers").
FIRST Supporting gTech
The team delivered over 60 experiences globally, including:
- In APAC, the Roundhouse hosted the Richemont Group, owners of Cartier and Jager le Coutre. They also hosted Adaire Fox-Martin, President of Google Cloud International & Head of Google Ireland.
- In Sao Paulo’s Partner Plex, the team hosted the Magalu team, a major Google client, for an AgileLab Mobile UX session with 21 external guests, including 6 C-levels.
- In Los Angeles, Room 98 was off to a busy start hosting a Paramount+ Event, along with their first video shoot of the year with Alex Angeles playing drums and interviewing the former VP of YouTube.
- In Dublin, The Foundry hosted Commissioner Mairead McGuinness from the European Commission.
Event Production: FIRST Supporting Google
The team delivered over 215 events globally.
- The Sydney team celebrated a Summer Offsite together, and the Singapore Alphabet team celebrated the Lunar New Year.
- In London, the team hosted Accelerate 23, one of the largest events for Google Cloud. With 86 external and 15 internal crew members, featuring the President of Google Cloud and Craig Doyle, an Irish television presenter, the event was a huge success watched by over 3,500 viewers.
- In the Americas, the team delivered watch parties for Accelerate 23.
G-Core (formerly Creative Core)
The G-Core team helped launch Google’s Experience Institute (XI) Insights Report, which takes readers through the Xi journey from uncertainty to opportunities for innovation, sharing key learnings from their experience experiments throughout the year.
