The team delivered 400+ events - a combination of digital, onsite, and hybrid experiences..
The New York City team hosted the Dentsu Hackathon. This full-day production included breakfast, lunch, and happy hour. The EP Studio at 345 Hudson and several adjoining breakout rooms were used to host Google and C-level and external clients. This was a collaboration between the Event Management and Event Production teams, and it received resounding kudos from all involved.
Another highlight for the NYC team was PRIDE @ Google Presents: So You Think You’re An Ally. This was a customized workshop for 100 in-person attendees, and many more who joined online. The guest speaker for this event was Lyndon Cudlitz, a trainer with over 20 years of experience in social justice facilitation and services for LGBTQIA individuals. The event was for those who want to be a better ally to trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming folks in and outside of Google.
EMEA
The team delivered 600+ digital, onsite, and hybrid experiences across Europe.
Over the course of a week, the London, Dublin, Paris, Zurich and Berlin teams hosted several successful exec-level events. In London, Sundar Pichai, Ruth Porat, Philipp Schindler, Fiona Cicconi and Neal Mohan came onsite to host People Talks, Earnings Call, GBO-Live, TGIF, and several other high-level events. The London team had to pivot quickly and efficiently from one exec-level event to another to deliver for Google. TGIF and GBO-Live proved particularly challenging due to the complex run of the show. Both events had many remote sites, including Dublin and Zurich taking part in the show.
That same week, Paris hosted a fireside chat with YouTube Executives Neal Mohan and Pedro Pina in Bastille Auditorium, followed by a newsletter video recording in the Digital Studios. In Berlin RDS, the local Cloud team had a fireside chat with Urs Hölzle. This was important for Berlin, as they are trialing a new support model that relies solely on the in-house team to produce the event, reducing costs to Google. The event was a success and the team received great feedback from the local leadership team.
APAC
The team delivered many events in July, including 160+ onsite, 130+ Hybrid, and 15+ Digital.
The highlight for the Sydney team was hosting the Commerce and Export Summit at Google Sydney. Through a carefully considered environment and curated format, Google created opportunities for customers to embark on an inspiring journey and discover new possibilities, with the goal of getting personalized guidance from a Google representative. Over 150 external guests attended two sessions in the Corroboree studio to listen to lightning talks and participate in partner sessions with key Googlers.
A follow-up series of Google for Singapore 2022, Safer with Google, is the first event focusing on digital responsibility and security. This is a one-day event with ministers in attendance, as well as other high-priority government policymakers, media personnel, C-level customers, and local YouTube Creators. The event successfully showcases some custom installations demonstrating Google's role in bringing Singaporeans safe, helpful, and valuable experiences. Close to 500 Googlers and external guests joined the event both in-person and remotely. The complex setup of the interactives booth received great feedback and earned more engagement post-event in the Googlearium.
Graced by Minister Josephine Teo and Minister Sun Xueling, Safer with Google event announced new and expanded initiatives to further educate and benefit individuals and businesses.

What the client has been saying:
EP, EM, RDS Teams - FIRST Supporting Google, Paris
Your team was awesome! I can't believe we managed to pull this off with remote and rather last min organization. Lucas Simon and the team are so professional it blows my mind. Amazing job!!
Karen Maguire, Ian McNulty - FIRST Supporting Google, Dublin
Karen and Ian were excellent to work with. They were on top of everything that needs to be sorted out and were supportive on some of the action items where relevant. The recording went smoothly and they sent the final output over within 24 hours. It was an absolute pleasure working with them.
Zurich EP Team - FIRST Supporting Google, Zurich
As GBO Live was winding down, Milo and Robin immediately shifted to preparing for the TGIF rehearsals in Next Big Thing and were able to land this without skipping a beat. On the day of TGIF, they made sure everything was perfect for our presenter. Thanks as always to the whole ZRH Event Production Team. They are such a crucial part of our broader team of cross-functional partners and it's always a pleasure to work with them.
Linda Bormane - FIRST Supporting Google, London
I just needed to sing Linda's praises for everything she did last week. I swear she must secretly be a triplet, because otherwise I don't know how she was possibly in so many places at once. Every time I needed something, she was there and ready to help (or had already handled it!). Our experience in London was terrific overall, and Linda was a big part of that. The attention to detail and level of support we received was unmatched, and what I would love to see at future TGIFs on the road.
Kirsten Swanson - FIRST Supporting Google, NYC
Kristen and the team helped set a high bar for us in execution and delivery. The team and I learned from this experience!! We truly appreciate all Kristen's time and effort in helping our event be the success it was!
Tracey Truong, Katie McCorquodale - FIRST Supporting Google, Sydney
Thank you both for such a quick hustle to get this solved and updated. I would expect nothing less from such a great team!
