FIRST @ Bank of America
The team delivered nearly 15 experiences in August.
One program to highlight was Merrill Lynch's Mid-West markets cocktail reception, art discussion and tour of the exhibition, "Warhol: A Life in Pop." At the event, Bank of America Art Curator, Jennifer Brown, shared her experiences curating the exhibit, providing a high-level overview of the expansive art service programs the bank can offer clients and prospects. The team created individual directional cards to help reduce congestion within the museum. Docents were available to help guide and educate the attendees through each gallery. The décor chosen for this event was reminiscent of Warhol’s elaborate, lively, colorful pieces using brightly colored linens, napkins, and centerpieces.
FIRST @ Carlyle
FIRST delivered 10 virtual experiences for Carlyle throughout the month of August.
The team stayed busy working on the firm’s flagship annual conference, which takes place in Washington, DC in September.
FIRST @ Goldman Sachs
The Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management division hosted 70 clients at this year’s Concours d’Elegance program in August. Throughout the day, clients had access to a private hospitality area, docent-led tours of the grounds, and had VIP viewing of the car judging.
FIRST @ KKR
The KKR Event Tech team worked tirelessly to procure a seamless registration site for the 2023 US Open in Flushing, NY.
The Multimedia Implant team at KKR was also busy this month, spending the better half of August filming a vast array of content, the team captured nearly 30 sessions.
FIRST @ McKinsey
FIRST @ McKinsey has sourced 123 programs across both regions, AMRS and EMEA. 46 of these programs have already taken place and 24 programs are confirmed and contracted for 2024 and 1 for 2025!
The FIRST Venue Sourcing Team at McKinsey had the opportunity to collaborate on an RFP for a 350 person meeting. This group has very specific needs which includes accommodation for all, an extensive general session and 35 breakouts, all of which must have natural light.
The host asked us to source over 25 global locations, including Boston, Vancouver, Zurich, Amsterdam, Singapore and Bangkok. It’s been a great experience working across regions which can vary in many aspects including pricing, room rental, F&B minimums and commission.
FIRST @ Morgan Stanley
FIRST @ Morgan Stanley had a busy month with nearly 40 global events, 30 roadshows in EMEA, and nearly 30 US roadshows.
In August, the US Attendee Data team volunteered their time delivering lunch to seniors living in Midtown and on the Upper West Side, helping them stay independent in their homes. The team split up into groups of two and all delivery routes were done on foot using carts and coolers. This was an excellent opportunity to help the local community and work together as a team to make a difference for those in need! Shout out to Britney Mui for her research and coordination through New York Cares.
