FIRST @ Bank of America
The team delivered 65 experiences in October.
This year, Bank of America kicked off the NYC Wine & Food Festival with 3 full dinner buyouts. Each dinner was held at Bryant Park, allowing the team to utilize the rooftop space for the reception before guests made their way to a dinner crafted by award-winning chefs specifically for our clients and guests. The courses were perfectly paired with wines from the festival’s wine sponsor. The chefs shared their inspiration for each dish with the attendees. The non-profit, God’s Love We Deliver, attended and shared how these events help feed the community and support their work.
FIRST @ BP
The team delivered 2 experiences in October.
In October, BP hosted a World Mental Health Day event, focusing on mental health as a universal human right.
The event was two-fold over lunchtime in the BP office atrium, with healthy snacks for all to enjoy. Employees had the opportunity to meet BP North Sea Mental Health Champions and learn more about mental health in the workplace, including details of the BP's Employee Assistance program.
Employees were also able to meet representatives from the local charity, Voluntary Service Aberdeen (VSA), as they promoted positive mental health in the North East region of Scotland. The charity advertised local fundraising opportunities, including marathons, walks, and coffee mornings, that our colleagues could take part in to help raise vital funds.
FIRST @ Capital Group
FIRST @ Capital Group delivered 2 events in October.
A highlight included Capital Group in Los Angeles partnering with small business groups to host clients and prospects for a special screening of a movie about the Laemmle Theatres with a special Q&A with the Laemmle family and director of the film.
The New York team hosted their quarterly Market Outlook for local clients/prospects, covering the markets and some of their investment professionals’ perspectives for long-term investors.
FIRST @ Carlyle
The FIRST @ Carlyle team supported 8 virtual events in October and continued to prepare for our final flagship event of the year, the Europe Investor Conference.
FIRST @ Citadel
Citadel delivered 6 events over October.
In Miami, Citadel transformed an office common space into a Halloween Jungle and invited families to join in activities such as slime making, pumpkin painting, and face painting. There were live characters for entertainment, candy hidden for the kids to “trick or treat” and custom dry ice mocktails.
For the New York City version, Citadel took over Cipriani and turned it into a Willy Wonka-inspired event. There were two time slots, one where people could bring children and one with adults only. This allowed people to “choose their own adventure.” There were bubbles infused with alcohol, a candy necklace-making bar, and arcade games brought in, all with a Willy Wonka theme.
FIRST @ Goldman Sachs
The team delivered 50+ events in the AMRS and nearly 20 events in EMEA in October.
The team planned two client dinners during London Metals Week.
Kicking off with the first dinner, Goldman welcomed over 200 guests at the Natural History Museum in the stunning Hintze Hall where guests dined beneath the skeleton on the largest animal on Earth, a four-ton, 25-meter long blue whale. Partnering again with Wise for Production, Rocket for catering, and Lavender Green for florals, the ‘dream team’ combination ensured the team could access the venue, set up, and start welcoming clients with 1 hour turnaround time. The following evening, the team welcomed 120 clients to Two Temple Place, a unique Grade II listed building overlooking the Thames. A huge shout out to the onsite team who collectively managed the very intricate seating plan arrangement with ease – historically the most challenging piece for this event. The team closed the evening with a number of guests requesting to pencil the 2024 date in their diaries.
The AMRS team delivered the annual Builders and Innovators summit in October, which once again hosted some of the most exceptional entrepreneurs of the year. The event was filled with a nontraditional agenda, including amazing race team-building activities, thought-provoking speakers, and personal success stories. The annual Chef Showcase attracted new and upcoming chefs, including Michelin Star and celebrity chef Juan Manuel Barrientos.
FIRST @ KKR
KKR hosted their annual KKR Academy at their office in Hudson Yards, starting with a welcome dinner the night before at Peak with incredible views of the city. The event’s registration site was built by an all FIRST event tech team. FIRST team members joined the crew to welcome guests to dinner and execute a day of event production and filming. The event received tons of positive feedback from both internal and external stakeholders; so much so that they have already begun planning the 2024 Academy!
FIRST @ McKinsey
The McKinsey sourcing team has contracted nearly 250 programs globally so far in 2023, plus the team has contracted over 50 events for 2024. Our planning team has touched over 100 programs in 2023.
The Senior Partners Meeting (SPM) 2023 was a global gathering of over 650 Senior Partners in Seoul, South Korea. The two-day event started with an early plenary in DDP designed by the late Zaha Hadid (Iraqi-British architect and artist), followed by multiple breakout sessions, activities, and dinners. Activities ranged from hiking the Namsan trail to shopping at the famous Gwangjang traditional market. The first night's dinner was held in various locations in the city and celebrated Senior Partners who have reached a 25-year milestone with the Firm. The program closed out with a bang – with a short but stellar performance from a world-famous Korean singer in a hotel ballroom transformed into a Korean street food haven of Korean fried chicken, kimchi pancakes, and so much more.
FIRST @ Meta
The team delivered the Creator Summit and Developer Meetup events. Almost 90 creators and developers attended, and the day included a full-day program and meet-up. Both events had roundtable sessions with creators/developers, where the feedback has been extremely positive. The engagement with Meta teams during the event was very well received.
Post Event Feedback:
“The events team was awesome; securing the space for the summit is a top highlight despite most rooms being booked/prioritized for Meta’s flagship event.”
“Onsite event logistics seemed to be on point.”
“Social events were nice and well thought out.”
FIRST @ Morgan Stanley
The team delivered 110 events in AMRS and 93 events in EMEA.
FIRST @ Morgan Stanley delivered the Morgan Stanley Investment Management Conférence Annuelle 2023 at the Hôtel Ritz Paris. The business was thrilled with the biggest client turnout to date, inclusive of investors, Financial Advisors, and Family Office firms. The MS brand campaign was utilized in multiple scenarios and translated into French for an even bigger reach. Congratulatory feedback was received by 3 C-suite executives!
For the second year, the AMRS team hosted over 170+ clients and advisors over three days at the F1 Austin Grand Prix. The FIRST @ Morgan Stanley team successfully managed communications, ticket allocations, food and beverage, branding, all-day-long arrival and departure shuttle transportation to and from the suite, and first-class hospitality. The team incorporated On Arrival Basic to seamlessly check in arriving clients and collect data more efficiently. The event has received an overwhelming amount of positive client and advisor feedback, with several post-event survey answers specifically complimenting our FIRST at Morgan Stanley team members.
Client Kudos
What the clients have been saying:
FIRST @ Goldman Sachs, AMRS
Carolina, McKenna & Joanna: Thank you again for all your focus, hard work, and cross team collaboration. I am grateful to work with such an impactful group and look forward to many more programs together.
FIRST @ Goldman Sachs, EMEA
Rosie: You were all over this programme! We had a relatively compressed planning window, so having you jump in from day 1 was invaluable; everything operationally was executed seamlessly, which is no easy feat considering all the venues, contacts and Partners with tennis balls we were managing!
FIRST @ Morgan Stanley, EMEA
Natalie Brown: I’ve heard that the event was absolutely superb, and that Justin was an incredible ambassador for MS as well as being hugely generous with his time and technical knowledge. Fair to say it will be one of the most memorable industry events our client’s will have attended, so thank you and Frances for the exceptional organisation to allow MSIM clients to take part, it is greatly appreciated. I think the format we agreed early on in the process was a brilliant use of time for clients and for Justin and allowed us to make the event larger than a 4 ball would have offered.
FIRST @ Morgan Stanley, AMRS
Angie Freire, Gabby Tumminia, Nathalie Chadwick: I can't thank the PWM marketing/event team enough for including me and my prospective clients in this event. The feedback from my prospective clients has been excellent. They are big time F-1 fans so this was meaningful. The event facilitated the opportunity for extended dialogue and I believe ultimately helped advance the effort towards becoming MS PWM clients directionally.
Brigitte Underwood, Mackenzie Meeks, Emily Cho: Huge shout out to Brigitte, Mackenzie and Emily for all their help with our event this week – it was a huge success and went extremely smoothly thanks to all their help and attention to details!
Camryn Pecore: Thank you for all the hard work, long hours, and dedication you put into Lyford Miami. I am so proud of you, and you should be proud of what you accomplished! This is the most important event for IED with their top clients and you absolutely crushed it.
FIRST @ KKR

FIRST @ McKinsey
"Super, thanks so much to you all! Vicki Laurie, I really wanted to extend such an enormous thank you for getting us over the finish line with our final hotel cluster for OM24…it’s been a journey and you’ve been responsive, proactive and utterly professional throughout.
Elyna (Ngu) is not only doing her assigned role with professionalism, incredible organization and wonderful problem solving skills, she has stepped up in other areas to help us given some of the challenges we are facing with planning SPM in Seoul. She is an incredibly hard worker, collaborative team player, and always open to jumping in to help wherever we need her. I thoroughly enjoy working with her and hope to continue doing so in the future.
Vanessa Goldschneider, thank you again for all your hard work! I know it’s been painful at times, but I’m so lucky to be working with you😊!
