FIRST @ Bank of America
The team delivered nearly 50 experiences in September.
FIRST @ Bank of America hosted two Midwest dinners in Cleveland and Milwaukee. The Cleveland event took place at the Marble Room Steaks & Raw Bar in a beautiful, refurbished bank vault. The group enjoyed dinner and an interactive discussion with C-Suite Executives. The Milwaukee event was at the 2023 James Beard Award-nominated restaurant, Lupi & Iris. Bank of America hosted their top clients for an unforgettable dining experience in the exquisite Marseille Dining Room. The evening included remarks, a four-course meal, and wine pairings with a sommelier.
FIRST @ BP
The team delivered 4 experiences in September.
One highlight for FIRST @ BP was delivering BP's exhibition at Offshore Europe. One of the largest events of its kind in Europe, more than 800 exhibitors and tens of thousands of energy professionals from across the globe convened to explore this year’s theme - “Accelerating the transition to a better energy future.” BP highlighted its strategy in Scotland and the UK, encompassing their resilient hydrocarbons, convenience and mobility, and low-carbon energy businesses. BP also demonstrated how they are backing Britain through their exhibition stand and various speaking opportunities.
FIRST @ Capital Group
The team hosted clients and prospects for a networking event at the Braves vs Cubs game in Atlanta, Georgia. Although the Braves had already secured a spot in the playoffs, the evening ended in another win for the them and Capital Group guests.
FIRST @ Carlyle
FIRST delivered almost 10 experiences for Carlyle in September, including one of their biggest events of 2023, the Global Investor Conference. Over 500 people gathered at the Waldorf Astoria, Washington DC, with an additional 700 viewing online. Over two days, attendees listened to thought leadership and product updates. The conference was a collaboration between Carlyle, FIRST @ Carlyle, and the FIRST Agency delivery teams, for end-to-end event management & production, including designing a fully-branded environment for Carlyle’s takeover of the venue.
FIRST @ Citadel
FIRST delivered nearly 10 experiences for Citadel in September.
A highlight for the team was delivering an exclusive outing at Chelsea Piers, New York City. This was a family event for more than 2,000 guests who enjoyed a fun-filled day of bowling, golf, arcade games, basketball, rock climbing, and more.
Another highlight was a day at LoanDepot Park, Miami - formerly Marlins Park. At this event, Citadel and Citadel Securities team members and their families took over the stadium while the team was at an away game. The field was designed like a baseball-themed carnival, including a custom-made home run photoactivation, face painting, balloon artists, life-size “Human Soccer,” and more. Former players were brought in to coach at the batting cages, speed pitch clock, and playing catch lanes. The Marlins' in-house emcee narrated the event. Custom touches were everywhere, from lanyard name badges designed as tickets to custom food station facades, mini helmets for ice cream, and branded bats and baseballs.
FIRST @ Fresenius
FIRST delivered 3 events with Fresenius in September: One Clinical Leader Training and two tradeshows for the Heart and Lung team.
A highlight for the team was Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ELSO), the “Superbowl” of tradeshows for our Heart and Lung team. FIRST hosted a 10’ x 20’ booth, a lunch symposium, and several client meals.
FIRST @ Goldman Sachs
The Goldman Sachs team in AMRS was busy delivering events in September. Through their One Million Black Women: Black in Business program, Goldman Sachs welcomed their 4th cohort of scholars to both their 200 West and 30 Hudson, NYC campuses for a 3-day Orientation. The 150 black, female, solopreneurs, from all around the nation, kicked off their program with a panel headlined by Black in Business alumni. The panel was followed by tutorials such as “Mastering Your Pitch” and “Financing for Growth” and other business development topics. A networking reception took place on the Rooftop of the Hyatt House in Jersey City, New Jersey on the second day. Asahi Pompey gave closing remarks on the third and final day. After the in-person orientation, scholars embark on a 10-week online course and, upon successful completion, return to the Goldman Sachs headquarters for a graduation ceremony.
The FIRST @ Goldman Sachs team in AMRS also organized a happy hour with the Goldman Sachs clients at Amelia’s Bistro in Jersey City. With many new members on the FIRST team, it was a great opportunity to get to know the client better and build on existing relationships.
FIRST @ Goldman Sachs in EMEA delivered the 13th Annual EMEA Credit and Leveraged Finance Conference. Global Banking & Markets welcomed almost 1,200 investors and issuers to Plumtree Court, London for the 13th Annual EMEA Credit and Leveraged Finance Conference. This was the largest in-person event ever to be hosted at our London office and included a full day of plenary sessions and 400 group meetings. Keynote speakers included Zak Brown, McLaren CEO, and Richard Hammond, British television presenter and journalist. The McLaren 2023 Silverstone livery car was also on display for the conference, which covered topics from commodities to artificial intelligence.
FIRST @ KKR
Board members and a select number of EMEA Partners came together in Paris for the Q3 Board meeting, a tour of Station F, and a closing dinner at Musée Rodin. The FIRST @ KKR Event Tech team collected air travel, hotel reservations, and ground travel information to ensure seamless transfers for attendees while in Paris.
KKR also held their annual Asia Investors’ Meeting in Singapore. Thanks to the incredible teamwork and collaboration around the firm, they connected with around 325 clients and shared updates on their Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Credit businesses. KKR hosted panels on inclusion, sustainability, and value creation as well as more than 100 one-on-one client meetings. The First at KKR team worked so hard to bring KKR’s “Power of Together” theme to life!
KKR hosted a client dinner at Bourbon Steak in Miami. The dinner received such overwhelming interest, that the team had to pivot at the last minute and secure a larger space. The well-attended dinner received positive feedback from both internal and external stakeholders.
FIRST @ McKinsey
The FIRST sourcing team secured contracts for 230 programs globally, with an additional 50 scheduled for 2024 and beyond at McKinsey. Our planning team has already touched 100 programs in 2023.
The McKinsey Center for Government and The Miller Center of Public Affairs at the University of Virginia collaborated to organize the Inaugural Government Leadership Forum. The forum brought together senior leaders from various federal agencies with representation from over 15 agencies. The primary objective was to provide a platform for government leaders to deliberate on immediate and long-term challenges facing their organizations and redefine their vision for effective government delivery.
The event facilitated discussions between government leaders and experts from academia, industry, and non-profit sectors. It encouraged participants to identify their most pressing challenges, learn from innovative best practices, enhance their leadership skills, and establish relationships to bolster government modernization efforts. A central theme of the forum was visionary and inspirational leadership, focusing on shaping the future of government for the next 250 years.
Distinguished speakers included Ron Klain, former Chief of Staff to US President Joe Biden, who delivered the keynote address, John Negroponte, former Director of National Intelligence and Deputy Secretary of State under President George W. Bush, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Chief Medical Correspondent for CNN and Frances Townsend, senior counsel at Activision Blizzard and former national security analyst for CBS News.
FIRST @ Meta
The team delivered the Creator Summit and Developer Meetup event. A total of nearly 90 creators and developers attended, and the day included a full-day program and meet-up. Both events had roundtable sessions with creators/developers, where the feedback has been extremely positive. The engagement with Meta teams during the event was very well received.

FIRST @ Morgan Stanley
The team in AMRS ran two separate marquee Corporate Access conferences concurrently in NYC and Laguna, California, in September. The events featured tracks, 4,855+ allocated 1x1 meetings, over 25 off-site dinners and receptions, and Fisker and Rivian hosted technician-driven test rides onsite in Laguna. The event was a great success and kicked off the Fall busy season. The FIRST @ Morgan Stanley EMEA team delivered the Industrial CEOs Unplugged Annual Conference. The 2.5 day conference held in London was comprised of fireside chats and one-on-one / small group meetings held between investors and corporates from the Capital Goods, Aerospace & Defence, and Autos sector. 45 corporates attended alongside over 250 investors. There were multiple dinners hosted around the conference – targeted at Investors/Investor Relations attendees or C-level delegates held in various venues around London. The conference and connected dinners received both positive internal and external feedback and were very well received. The EMEA team also delivered the European Utilities and Energy Summit in London across busy 3 days, filled with fireside chats and 1x1 / small group meetings. The conference brought together top C-suite executives from the leading utilities in Europe with a wide breadth of investors, making it the highest-attended conference to date. There were also 16 highly attended fireside chats by CFOs/CEOs of the companies. The hosts were very happy with the organization, level of meetings, and attendance of the event.
FIRST @ PIMCO
The team delivered nearly 25 events, reaching nearly 1875 clients throughout September.
September 11th kicked off the busiest week ever for the FIRST EMEA team at PIMCO. Starting with an internal conference at Chicago Booth, London - the first time the event had been hosted outside of America. The event had 177 attendees who came together to share their ideas and views and was deemed a shining success by the client. Throughout that same week, there were 5 more events taking place for PIMCO. Most notable was the team's Summit Conference, which took place at The Nobu and brought together clients from all across the EMEA region. This highly anticipated event attracted a total of nearly 380 clients, making it a significant gathering in terms of both size and importance.
